London City Orchestra, Cadogan Hall

The LCO’s 2022 Summer Concert featured music by Strauss, Rachmaninov, and Rimsky-Korsakov, conducted by ex-Royal Opera House Jette Parker Young Artist Thomas Payne, featuring soprano Nadine Benjamin MBE.

We produced a live broadcast from Sloane Square’s Cadogan Hall, using an audio rig based on our standard Decca inspired practices. Utilising vintage Neumann KM83s and KM84s, vintage AGK C414s, as well modern Neumann KM184s, KM183s and a TLM67, and offerings from Line Audio.

We combined the broadcast mix with video from Blackmagic Design 6K cinema cameras around the venue, both operated and fixed for subtlety.
